The program is real and run by the U.S. Treasury. Form 4547 is an official IRS form. Program information is on trumpaccounts.gov, the official help line is 866-USA-4547, BNY is Treasury’s financial agent and Robinhood Securities is the brokerage provider. Treasury may also send letters to families whose children may qualify for the $1,000. The official Help Center says real Trump Account notices come only from trumpaccount.com, the official app, or email from trumpaccounts.treasury.gov. Social Security also mails an information insert with newborns’ Social Security cards.
